Smoothie Lab is a small recipe app for high-protein smoothies. This page explains, plainly, what it stores about you and why.
Browsing the pantry
You can read every recipe and use the smoothie creator without an account. When you do, nothing about you is stored on our servers. Your browser may keep two small things locally so the app works the way you left it: the shakes you hearted, and — if you save a creation without signing in — that shake, on that device only.
Signing in with Google
If you choose to sign in, Google tells us three things: your Google account ID, your email address, and your name. We store these so your saved shakes belong to you and follow you between devices. We never see your Google password, contacts, files, or anything else in your Google account, and we don't post anything on your behalf.
Signing in sets one cookie (lab_session) that keeps you signed in for 30 days. It contains no tracking identifiers and is not shared with anyone.
Your shakes
When you're signed in, the shakes you create — their names, ingredients, and computed nutrition — are stored in our database under your account. They are private to you.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad networks, no selling or sharing of personal data.
- No analytics trackers or third-party cookies.
- No emails from us unless you write to us first.
Where data lives
The app runs on Cloudflare's network; account and shake data are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Google handles the sign-in itself under Google's privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Email hello@smoothielab.app from the address you signed in with and we'll delete your account and every shake attached to it. You can also remove Smoothie Lab's access at any time from your Google account's third-party access page.
